Submission Guidelines

We invite full papers, extended abstracts, and work-in-progress studies that contribute to academic discourse and industry advancements. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigor and quality. Accepted papers may be considered for publication in affiliated peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

Full Papers (Max 6000 words)
Extended Abstracts (Max 1500 words)
Work-in-Progress Papers (Abstracts) (500-1,000 words)

Important Dates

Abstract/Paper Submission Deadline: 01 September 2026
Notification of Acceptance: Rolling
Early Registration Deadline: 31 July 2026
Conference Dates: 18-21 September 2026

Hybrid Format

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend in person or virtually. All keynote sessions, research presentations, and panel discussions will be accessible to both in-person and online attendees to foster a truly global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Options:

There will be four publication options at the GLOTECH Conference:

Conference Proceedings Publication: All authors who will submit a manuscript under any submission category to the GLOTECH conference have the option to publish their one (1) page abstracts in the GLOTECH Conference Proceedings.
Advances in Hospitality and Tourism Technology Book Chapter*: Authors who will submit full papers to the GLOTECH conference have the option to publish their full papers in the ISBN open-access book published by the University of South Florida (USF) M3 Publishing. Please see the previous book here.
Journal Publication: Authors of papers selected as Best Papers will be offered the opportunity to fast-track their submissions to a supporting journal of their choice. Please note that fast-tracking does not guarantee acceptance or publication, as all submissions remain subject to the journal’s standard peer-review process.
No Publication: Authors may opt for no publication at all.

All manuscripts will be screened through Turnitin before publication. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% or any single source cited more than 2% (exceptions will be given to properly cited tables or scales) will NOT be published.
Authors are allowed to publish their abstract in conference proceedings if they submit it to a journal or publish it as a book chapter.
Authors who elect to submit their manuscript to a journal are NOT allowed to publish their manuscript as a book chapter.
Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the formatting guidelines. It is required to download our Word templates and use them for your manuscripts. Please read the guidelines carefully. All formatting specifications are explained in this document so you can prepare your manuscripts accordingly. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in your manuscript not being published.
